Die Geschichte vom turbulenten Leben des norwegischen Schriftstellers Per Torhaug ist ein bewegender Roman über die enorme Widerstandsfähigkeit des Menschen, über Abenteuerlust, Lebenshunger und tiefe Freundschaft.
