Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2025 im Fachbereich Geschlechterstudien / Gender Studies, Note: 1,3, Pädagogische Hochschule Freiburg im Breisgau, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Mit diesen umstrittenen Themen beschäftigt sich unter anderem die vorliegende Hausarbeit und geht der Fragestellung nach, wie gesellschaftliche Geschlechterstereotype das Spielverhalten von Kindern sowie ihre Selbstwahrnehmung und Geschlechtsidentität beeinflussen. Zuerst wird der Begriff Geschlechtsidentität definiert und die Bedeutung gesellschaftlicher Geschlechterstereotype erklärt. Es folgt die Definition von Heteronormativität. Im nächsten Kapitel geht es um die Geschlechtsidentitätsentwicklung bei Kindern, hier wird die Geschlechtsidentitätsentwicklung analysiert anhand des Spielverhaltens der Kinder. Dazu werden nächstfolgend die theoretischen Hintergründe erklärt. Welchen Einfluss Pädagog*innen haben, ist vor allem in der Sozialpädagogik ein wichtiges Thema und wird im letzten Punkt des dritten Kapitels besprochen. Bei dem Kapitel "Zusammenfassung und Fazit", werden die erfassten Erkenntnisse zusammenfasst, die Antwort auf meine Fragestellung gefunden und mein Bezug zum Thema aufgezeigt. Bei dem anschließenden Kapitel wird eine Verknüpfung zum Seminar "Soziologische Gesellschaftstheorien und Gegenwartsdiagnosen" hergestellt. Daraufhin folgt der fünfte Punkt, welcher den LernFair Beitrag betrifft, gefolgt von Literaturverzeichnis.

Palgrave Advances in Sex Work Studies

This book explores ‘exiting’ programs for sex workers, which are behavioural change interventions that support people to stop selling sex. This book examines questions about how we should conceptualise and respond to ‘exiting’ and, by centring sex workers’ voices, it provides evidence of the impact of these programs. It examines sex work ‘exiting’, not as something sex workers need to stop doing, but as part of sex work careers. Drawing on interviews and a global program review to establish best practice, this book challenges the idea of sex work as something a person is ‘in’ or ‘out’ of. It also explores sex workers’ resistance to this area of programming to highlight the power and politics of ‘exiting’. Using a labour framing and seeing sex work as career, this book repositions ‘exiting’ as career development and sheds new light on everyday working circumstances, popular discourses, policies and programs and grassroots struggles for change. As a co-collaboration incorporating knowledge from researchers and lived experience experts, this book is a unique addition that challenges the dominant abolitionist, anti-sex work framings and is of interest to academics, policy makers, sex worker support organisations and non-government organisations globally.

This book investigates the experiences of women inmates in Alipore Women’s Correctional Home and Dum Dum Central Correctional Home in West Bengal, India. It explores their socio-economic background, the major factors that led to their incarceration, the nature of their crimes, the problems that women inmates and their children face inside the correctional homes, and their dealings with the judiciary.
Using a mixed methods framework, this volume helps us to understand how multiple hegemonies can affect the offence done by a particular woman. Through inmate interviews, this book provides a window into their struggles and decisions. The narratives contain rich information on their motives and ‘modus operandi’ and produce data on how the ‘self’ is constructed by reflecting upon the complex nature of values, identities, cultures and communities of the inmates. The analytical framework further challenges positivism in contemporary criminology. Advancing feminist criminological agendas, this book aims to help influence the creation and implementation of public policy to improve the conditions of female inmates in correctional homes in countries like India.
