The Kinks kündigen den dritten und letzten Teil ihrer ganz besonderen Anthologie-Reihe an: "The Journey - Part 3". "Part 3" behandelt ihre transformative RCA/Arista-Zeit von 1977 bis 1984, eine Zeit, in der die Band endgültig in Amerika durchbrach, ihre legendären Pop- und Experimentalphasen hinter sich ließ und zu einem frischen und prägnanten Stil des klassischen Songwritings zurückkehrte, der von ihrem eigenen, ausgeprägten britischen Selbstverständnis zeugt. CD 1 / LP 1 enthält Klassiker und Hits aus dieser Zeit, persönlich von der Band ausgewählt und von den Original-Sampler- und Produktionsbändern remastert, darunter "Come Dancing", "Destroyer" und "Living On A Thin Line".
