The monograph examines the phenomenon of youth in the modern information world and, in particular, in Uzbekistan, in connection with the advent of the era of new communication technologies and the universal digitalization of life. What positive opportunities are opening up on the Internet and what challenges does it pose to society, primarily to the youth environment? What measures are being taken or should be taken in the face of threats to children's mental and physical health, moral and traditional historical values? Based on foreign experience and her own research, the author attempts to find answers to these and other pressing questions facing the upbringing of the younger generation. For educational purposes, the book includes a dictionary of slang concepts and expressions used in the Z-generation (zoomer) environment. The appendices present a number of significant findings from field research with the participation of the author.
