Kelly believes in saving the planet. She regularly takes part in Fridays for Future demonstrations, and she can't understand anyone who won't join in. Michel, a French boy in her class, argues that you can't save the planet by standing around doing nothing. He is in favour of taking immediate (and creative) action to support the environment, and he absolutely does not believe that demonstrating is the way forward. He has other far more concrete ideas, and it takes a while - and a bit of an adventure - for Kelly to see why Michel might well be right.
