Verfassungsrechtspflege
Festschrift 75 Jahre Bundesverfassungsgericht
The Federal Constitutional Court Act of April 1951 has institutionalised the Federal Constitutional Court as a judicial organ, two years after the Basic Law entered into force. Seventy-five years later, constitutional law scholars have dedicated a Festschrift to the Court. The book aims to describe and analyse the Court as an actor in constitutional life as well as its sustaining influence on constitutional development. The contributions examine from a scholarly observer's perspective how the Court's decisions are produced, presented, and communicated; how constitutional principles are safeguarded, specified, and developed; and how numerous transformations in constitutional and public law are enabled, accompanied, and initiated.
