This calendar celebrates the colourful and imaginative animal designs featured in William De Morgan’s eye-catching tiles. The V&A holds a collection of approximately 300 tiles, tile panels, vases, and dishes, along with over 2,000 original watercolour designs by De Morgan, one of the most innovative designers of the nineteenth century. Inspired by Middle Eastern motifs and the natural world, he reimagined these influences in a distinctive style that brought beauty and colour to Victorian homes.
