Copyright-protected content is often offered and downloaded illegally on the internet. With regard to the phenomenon of so-called "internet piracy," Timm Pravemann analyzes the extent to which copyright law lacks acceptance and enforceability and what consequences can result from this. To this end, he proposes the legal-theoretical concept of holistic legal validity, which aims to be applicable to specific situations.
