This 'nutshell' - book gives a comprehensive overview over the Swiss financial market legislation and supervision and presents the main market and regulatory actors. It describes the market organization, financial products, market participants, cross-sector rules such as AML and financial markets insolvency regulation as well as the financial market supervision and enforcement in Switzerland. International aspects and the increasing influence of international standards and regulation are addressed. The text is based on the German version of November 2012 but was updated in May 2013.
