Strafrecht im Metaverse

'Criminal Law in the Metaverse. Applicability of substantive Criminal Law in the future Internet': The Metaverse, as an immersive development of the Internet of the future, raises new questions for substantive criminal law. This paper addresses these issues in the context of the 94th Conference of German Justice Ministers in 2023. It aims to identify gaps in criminal liability and propose adjustments, also considering brain activity in virtual spaces, artificial intelligence and virtual assets.
