Recht der Digitalisierung I

Digitalization connects us. Law, especially international law, is seen as a means to pursue and realise common interests. Both concepts, however, have met with substantial criticism against the backdrop of legal and technical fragmentation, new actors and new - algorithmic - means to exercise power. This volume gathers contributions from experts in digital law that analyse whether new rights, new concepts and new safeguards are needed for a more digital, globalised world. They examine how law can continue to safeguard human rights, the rule of law, and democracy amid the digital transformation.
