Die Autoren
Prof. Dr.-Ing. habil. Przemyslaw Komarnicki ist Professor für Elektrische Energieanlagentechnik an der Hochschule Magdeburg-Stendal und an der Politechnika Wroclawska Wroclaw/Polen. Er leitete zahlreiche nationale und internationale Großprojekte im Bereich Smart Grid und ist derzeit Vorsitzender des SC 6 Active Distribution Systems and Distributed Energy Resources des deutschen Komitees der GIGRE.
Dipl.-Ing. Michael Kranhold ist Prokurist und Leiter Kundenmanagement Netzabrechnung beim Übertragungsnetzbetreiber 50Hertz Transmission GmbH in Berlin. Er ist Mitglied der ETG und der CIGRE.
Univ.-Prof. Dr. Zbigniew A. Styczynski leitete bis April 2015 den Lehrstuhl für Elektrische Netze und Alternative Elektrische Energiequellen an der Otto-von-Guericke-Universität Magdeburg.

Das Buch enthält eine ganzheitliche &nbsp;Betrachtung der Grundlagen von Smart Grids.&nbsp; Das Smart Grid ist eine Symbiose aus klassischen Stromnetzen und erzeugungsorientierter Einspeisung aus erneuerbaren Energiequellen auf allen Spannungsebenen. Daraus resultierende neue Marktrollen (z.B. Prosumer) und neue Netzbetriebsmethoden (z.B. Redispatch) führen zu technischen Veränderungen sowohl im Soft- als auch im Hardwarebereich bei der Ausrüstung elektrischer Netze, die unter dem Begriff Smart Grid zusammengefasst werden. Im Vordergrund steht dabei die wirtschaftliche und zuverlässige Integration erneuerbarer Energiequellen, die durch den Einsatz von Informations- und Kommunikationstechnologien, KI-gestütztem Energiemanagement und modernen Überwachungs- und Steuerungssystemen ermöglicht wird. Impulsgeber für die kontinuierliche Weiterentwicklung des technischen Standards im Smart Grid ist dabei das regulierte Strommarktdesign, das durch die Festlegung geeigneter Tarife und rechtlicher Rahmenbedingungen die notwendigen, wirtschaftlich und technisch sinnvollen Innovationsimpulse setzt. Der Strommarkt ist damit der Garant für die weitere Effizienzentwicklung im Smart Grid. Zielgruppe des Buches sind Studierende im Grundstudium der Elektrotechnik, Energietechnik und anderer technischer Fachrichtungen wie Logistik oder Informatik, in denen die Grundlagen des Smart Grid eine wichtige Rolle spielen. Das Buch ist aber auch ein Wissenskompendium für Praktiker, die ihr Wissen systematisieren wollen, und für alle Interessierten, die sich mit dem Thema Smart Grid vertraut machen wollen. Nach der Darstellung der Grundzüge des Netzausbaus auf allen Spannungsebenen werden die Bedingungen für die Dimensionierung von Betriebsmitteln im Smart Grid im Normal- und im Störungsfall dargestellt. Das Zusammenspiel der Akteure Erzeuger-Verbraucher-Prosumer wird näher erläutert und die dafür notwendige Ausstattung des Smart Grids unter besonderer Berücksichtigung der Kommunikationsschnittstellen dargestellt. Des Weiteren werden die Grundlagen des Energiemarktes vorgestellt, wobei elektrische Energie als Produkt im Online-Handel betrachtet wird. Das Merit-Order-Prinzip wird erläutert und die Bedeutung von Erzeugungsprognosen, die sich aus der regenerativen Erzeugung ergeben, diskutiert. Die aus Prognosefehlern resultierenden Korrekturen im Netzbetrieb (sog. Redispatch) und deren Kosten werden betrachtet. Die Systematik der Bilanzierung von Strom, die durch den Smart-Meter-Rollout begleitet wird, die Rolle der Marktakteure und die Regeln der Marktkommunikation spielen dabei eine entscheidende Rolle. Dies wird anhand von Beispielen detailliert dargestellt. Dabei wird auch die zukünftig wachsende Rolle der elektrischen Energie nicht aus den Augen verloren, die dann zum Hauptenergieträger im Gesamtenergiesystem der Zukunft (GES) wird und zusammen mit grünem Wasserstoff eine noch effizientere Energienutzung durch Sektorenkopplung nach 2050 ermöglichen soll.

This book presents an integrative research methodology designed to support economic recovery and sustainable development in post-conflict regions, with a focus on Iraq. It addresses the critical question of how transportation logistics systems-and the regions they serve-can be made economically viable, resilient, and sustainable in the aftermath of armed conflict.The methodology unfolds in distinct but interconnected stages. The first stage provides a comprehensive overview of the Iraqi economy and its transportation infrastructure, supported by a robust database of transportation, economic, and demographic indicators.In the second stage, the post-ISIS state of Iraq's transportation system is assessed in depth. This includes a detailed analysis of logistics operations, recent infrastructure investments, and projections for future development. A key component of this stage is an expert elicitation process involving 20 stakeholder groups to identify investment priorities and stakeholder dynamics.In the methodology's third stage, alternative approaches to modeling interdependent dynamic decision-making in transportation logistics systems are presented and illustrated.&nbsp;These approaches include a) formulating and solving stochastic multiple-optimization problems with equilibrium constraints involving risk-averse players, b) differential spatial price equilibrium modeling in continuous time, and c) recursive dynamic multiregional computable general equilibrium modeling.&nbsp;&nbsp;The methodology also includes an elaboration and illustration of the notion of 'prosilience,' or the act of engaging in anticipatory contingency planning to promote the resilience of transport logistics systems to future threats.Combining theoretical insight with practical application, this book offers a valuable framework for researchers, policymakers, and practitioners working to rebuild and strengthen transportation systems in fragile and conflict-affected settings.
