Peter Langer has established a distinctive approach to fashion still life photography through his work for German Zeit Magazine's weekly style page. By blending classic elements with modern and avant-garde techniques, he has forged a new visual language in editorial still life. This book compiles approximately 230 of his most compelling works, selected from 884 images created over 17 years.

Peter Langer is an award-winning photographer recognized with the German Lead Award for Architecture and Still Life Photography in 2009, 2010, and 2012. A former artistic gymnast and early adopter of online photo publishing, Langer's still life work was featured weekly in German Zeit Magazine's style column from 2008 to 2024. He collaborates with leading editorial lifestyle and fashion publications such as Vogue and Harper's Bazaar . His commercial clients include prestigious brands like Hermes, Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Cartier, Dior, among others. Langer has published two books: On Line (Gestalten, 2009) and Volume One (Nightworks, 2011).
