Outrage, Inc

How the Liberal Mob Ruined Science, Journalism, and Hollywood

Inhalt

IN THE RUSH TO CLAIM JOURNALISM, SCIENCE, AND POP CULTURE AS ITS OWN, THE LEFT IS DESTROYING THEM ALL.

Newspapers have stopped publishing “all the news that’s fit to print,” opting for “the truth is more important now than ever,” as the New York Times’ motto now goes. To “save” science from conservatives, the Left has weaponized it by lowering the bar for what is considered true. To “save” pop culture from conservatives, it has produced entertainment that entertains no one. The idea of “speaking truth to power” has been transformed into speaking the “truth” of the powerful.

We’ve entered a new era of political bias and groupthink in these fields. By turns hilarious and shocking, Outrage, Inc. exposes what happens when the extreme wing of a political faction claims exclusive domain over “truth” and works to destroy dissenting views and those who hold them.

It started with the desire to purge radical conservatives from the public square and then spread to just the conservatives. Now the liberals are going after everyone deemed impure.

With the humanities and social sciences already cleansed, and with these domains now spitting out foot soldiers for “the resistance” with an education that leaves them qualified only to be professionally offended, the Left will eventually move on to corporate America, all of government, and the military.

Remember when journalists worked to get out more information, instead of telling you which information they thought the public should have? For a long time, the media have held a liberal bias, so this has been easy to miss or misunderstand. However, when you look at the virtual industry that has been created to stir up outrage and keep people too angry or scared to think, it becomes clear that reality has been elbowed out of journalism—and science and pop culture.

With the sarcasm and wit that only Derek Hunter can deliver, Outrage, Inc. reveals every angle of the liberal anger industry that has created systemic bias and subtle indoctrination to manipulate an unsuspecting public. These once-great and vital institutions have become a complete mockery of what they were supposed to be. Only when the workings of the machine are exposed do we stand a chance of maintaining our constitutionally limited republic.
