"Sunday Ehindero was born in Jos, Plateau on March 20, 1946. He had his primary, secondary and post-secondary education in Jos, Benin, Ile-Oluji, Ibadan in Plateau, Edo, Ondo and Oyo States respectively. After a three years stint as a graduate teacher, he was appointed into the Nigeria Police Force in 1973 as a cadet Assistant Superintendent of Police. He is widely read and is known to have pioneered police prosecutions in the Superior Courts of Record (High Court, Court of Appeal, and Supreme Court).
