Material Culture

The book covers material culture items such as body covers, ornaments, weapons, containers and shelter forms. It includes the utility functions and aesthetic functions of those items in time and space and how those items can be used to advance the discourse of the place of culture in Kenya's technological and industrial development. The book is needed in providing indigenous content for learners pursuing undergraduate studies in anthropology. It will also be a good resource for lecturers and instructors for comparative ethnography and ethnology courses.
