Die Public Health Humanities verstehen Gesundheit und Krankheit als kulturell und sozial geprägte Phänomene. Sie ergänzen die empirisch orientierte Multidisziplin Public Health um geisteswissenschaftliche und künstlerische Perspektiven. Dabei fragen sie nach der Bedeutung des Künstlerischen für die Gesundheit, interessieren sich für moralische, soziale und kulturelle Dimensionen von Gesundheit und Krankheit in Kunst bzw. Hart Studies in European Criminal Law

This unique open access collection offers an in-depth understanding of UK-EU police and judicial cooperation post-Brexit, an under-explored field. It considers the legal and political operation of the Trade and Cooperation Agreement (TCA) and its implications for a wide number of policy areas. As well as critiquing its operation, contributors suggest reforms that would improve police and judicial cooperation between the UK and the EU. This book looks at women’s resistance and responses to States’ processes of gender stereotyping and punishment. Ultimately, it showcases women’s collective capacity to shape the security agenda.
Corina Giacomello is Professor of Sociology of Law at the Institute of Judicial Studies of the Autonomous University of Chiapas, Mexico. She is an academic and international consultant with expertise in gender studies, children’s rights, criminal justice and prison systems and drug policies. She has 20 years of experience in advocacy-oriented research and development of legal, judicial and public policy proposals at the national and international level.

Adopting a multidisciplinary approach to climate adjudication, this book addresses how adjudicators decide cases by considering the influence of psychology, philosophy, legal education, film, literature, political economy, political ecology, judicial appointments, history, and climate science on their decision-making and ultimately on the (inconsistent) outcomes in climate cases. Als Körperschaften des öffentlichen Rechts gelten besondere – insbesondere gesetzliche und damit regulatorische – Anforderungen für diese Träger. Die Einführung des freien Kassenwahlrechts Mitte der 1990er-Jahre und die Etablierung des Gesundheitsfonds 2009 hat zu einem Verdrängungswettbewerb geführt, der sich in einer Reduzierung der Anzahl der Krankenkassen manifestiert hat: Knapp 100 Krankenkassen versuchen derzeit die Versorgung für rund 72 Mio. Versicherte zu organisieren. Die Anforderungen an das Management dieser Einheiten sind damit deutlich gestiegen und zudem fallen weitere neue Aufgaben auf die Krankenkassen und Pflegekassen zu.  &nbsp;schaut in seiner jetzigen Funktion als Vorstand des BKK-Dachverbands auf langjährige Kenntnisse der Gesundheitsbranche zurück. Vorherige berufliche Stationen waren dabei unter anderem das Bundesministerium für Gesundheit, das Bundesministerium für Arbeit und Sozialordnung sowie der AOK Bundesverband.
 Karin Agor&nbsp;
 ist Vertragsreferentin bei der Knappschaft und Dozentin in verschiedenen gesundheitsbezogenen Studiengängen. Zuvor arbeitete sie in einem auf die Gesundheitsbranche ausgerichteten Beratungsunternehmen, bei einer obersten Landesgesundheitsbehörde sowie in leitender Tätigkeit für eine Berufsfachschule der Gesundheitsberufe.
