It's Never Too Late

"Somewhere right now, someone is sitting in a job they've outgrown, scrolling through job listings for a field they've never worked in, thinking the same thought that stops most people before they ever really start: it's too late for me.
Too late to learn something new. Too late to start at the bottom again. Too late to compete with twenty-two-year-olds who've been doing this since college. Too late, period.
I want to say this as clearly as I can, right at the start of this book: that thought is a lie. Not a comforting lie you tell yourself to feel better - an actual, factually incorrect belief that stops far more people than any real practical obstacle ever does.
