Islamic Organisations in Western Switzerland

How have Islamic organisations in Western Switzerland been founded and structured at the cantonal and national level during the last forty years? How have they organised cultural, social and religious activities by improving deliberative practices? This book aims to go beyond the specific cantonal cases to address more general issues relating to the social and cultural engagement of Islamic organisations in Switzerland, and brings together two research fields that seldom speak to each other: Islamic studies and organisational network studies.
