'Joint Cross-Border Procurement Between Germany and Austria': Procurement cooperations increase efficiency in public procurement: The pooling of resources and the reduced administrative workload promote more favorable contract conditions and sustainable solutions. The EU therefore introduced regulations on this topic in the 2014 Public Procurement Directives. Country reports show the implementation of these EU requirements in Austria and Germany, differences are analyzed and recommendations for action are derived.
