'On the Future Use of Preimplantation Genetic Diagnosis for the Creation of Saviour Siblings in Germany - with Special Consideration of the Experiences in the United Kingdom': Unlike the United Kingdom, Germany criminalizes the tissue typing of in vitro embryos for the conception of saviour siblings. The author points out that this restrictive regulation of reproductive rights in the Embryo Protection Act is not in fact required by the German constitution. Taking into account the experiences of the United Kingdom, a reform proposal is drafted - tying the use of tissue typing to conceive a saviour sibling to strict conditions, but enabling the process in the future.
