In dieser historisch-systematischen Untersuchung wird Trendelenburg zwischen Kants Skeptizismus und Hegels Apriorismus verortet und sein eigenständiger aristotelischer Weg aufgezeigt. Neben der Rekonstruktion seines Systems wird ein Vorschlag seiner Aktualisierung für das Anthropozän dargestellt.
