Les perturbations atmosphériques telles que le brouillard et la brume peuvent réduire considérablement la visibilité des images capturées. Cela est principalement dû à l'influence considérable des perturbations atmosphériques qui absorbent et diffusent la lumière se propageant depuis le point de vue vers l'observateur.
