Frank Frazetta ist seit über 50 Jahren der unangefochtene Meister der Fantasy Art, und der Wert seiner Gemälde wächst - wie die Bewunderung seiner Fans. Wie er in den 1970er Jahren erklärte: "Ich bin sehr körperfixiert. In Brooklyn kannte ich Conan, ich kannte Typen, die exakt so drauf waren wie er". Und er nutzte seine Vertrautheit mit Muskelpaketen und Machos, um die Fantasy-Helden noch massiver, bedrohlicher und testosteron-gesteuerter zu zeichnen. Ihre weiblichen Gegenstücke sind dickbeinig, mit schwerem Gesäß und elfenhaftem Gesicht, aber dennoch mit ihren weichen Bäuchen und Anzeichen von Cellulite glaubwürdig real. Bleibt nur noch zu sagen: Frazettas Kunst macht süchtig wie Kartoffelchips und ist jetzt in diesem kompakten, attraktiven und erschwinglichen Paket erhältlich.
