'Sustainability Agreements in Light of European Antitrust Law. The Consideration of Benefits to Society as a Whole within the Framework of Article 101(3) TFEU - Risk or opportunity?': Economic cooperation can promote the overall objective of sustainability for society as a whole. This thesis examines the antitrust provision governing sustainability agreements at national and EU levels and shows that these provisions influence or hinder the effectiveness of sustainability agreement because they entail a risk of consideralbe legal uncertainty. In conclusion, a practice-orientated solution is presented.
