'MiCAR Crypto Assets and the Principles of Financial Market Regulation. National Regulation in Malta and Germany within the European Multi-Level System': This thesis examines the implementation of financial market regulation principles, in particular investor protection, market integrity and financial market stability, with regard to MiCAR's crypto asset regulation. A comparative legal analysis is made with reference to the regulations in Germany and Malta prior to the entry into force of MiCAR. The need for regulation is seen for staking, lending and liquidity mining services that are not independently regulated.
