'Art as a Danger to Public Safety and Public Order': This thesis focuses on state intervention against art based on the general clause of both police and public order law since the Weimar era. Both the respective interpretations and applications of the key terms 'art', 'public safety' and 'public order' as well as their relationship to each other is considered. This thesis is based on the contemporary views from both case law and literature, as well as practical examples from different art genres.
