Die über Jahre gesammelten Aufsätze entstammen einer Lern-, Lehr-, Forschungs- und Arbeitspraxis. Das erkenntnisleitende Interesse und die Art und Weise der Darstellung variieren deshalb von Aufsatz zu Aufsatz.
Schnell lässt sich in einschlägigen Lexika eine probate Definition des Lernens finden. In "Lernen und Genese der Lerntheorien" geht es aber um weit mehr. Wie ist es mit dem Ver- oder Umlernen? Wie reagiert man auf Veränderung und Kritik? Wie funktioniert kollektives, sprich politisches Lernen? Wer lernt aus Sicht einer jeweiligen Theorie warum, wie, was, gar wo? All das wird vor dem Hintergrund unterschiedlicher Lerntheorien der Vergangenheit mit einer je final aufschlussreichen "Kontrollfrage" erörtert.
Foucault analysiert die Strategien der Machtökonomie in verschiedenen Institutionen; so auch in der Schule. Wie sieht die Strategie der Machtunterwerfung im heutigen "Zeitalter der Normalisierung" aus? Man lese dazu "Foucaults Genealogie der Schule als Disziplinaranlage". - Um der etwas schillernden und charismatischen Persönlichkeit Foucaults (beiläufig auch seinem OEuvre) näher zu kommen, verhilft ein Exkurs über ihn anlässlich eines Besuchs von ihm in den 1980er Jahren in Berlin.
Es folgt die Abhandlung über "Kritische Psychologie und Schule". Klaus Holzkamp ist unbestritten der Spiritus Rector der weit bekannten Kritischen Psychologie. Seine weitreichenden subjektwissenschaftlichen Forschungen - und zwar nicht nur die zum Lernen in der Schule - werden vorgestellt.
Mit dem ausführlichen "Unterrichtsentwurf zum Thema Europa" legt der Autor eine exemplarische schulpädagogische Planung und Analyse einer Unterrichtsreihe vor, die er auch selbst am Gymnasium hielt.
Die "Didaktik und Methodik des Fremdsprachenlernens" hat im Laufe der Zeit viele erprobte und gangbare Wege des DaZ-Unterrichts aufgezeigt. Freilich haben gerade auch im internationalen Rahme Erkenntnisse und Fortschritte zu immer besseren Ergebnissen geführt. Insgesamt wird die Problematik des Zweit- oder Fremdsprachenlernens aufgegriffen.
Bei dem fragmentarischen Aufsatz "Über die Aneignung sprachlicher Fertigkeiten wie Hören, Lesen, Sprechen und Schreiben" geht es nicht nur um den ontogenetischen Erwerb dieser integralen sprachlichen Kompetenzen und deren Aneignungstechniken, sondern auch um ein Stück Kulturgeschichte sowie deren stilvollen Gebrauchs.
Bei dem fragmentarischen Aufsatz "Über die Aneignung sprachlicher Fer-tigkeiten wie Hören, Lesen, Sprechen und Schreiben" geht es nicht nur um den ontogenetischen Erwerb dieser integralen sprachlichen Kompetenzen und deren Aneignungstechniken, sondern auch um ein Stück Kulturgeschichte sowie deren stilvollen Gebrauchs.
Die Überlegungen zu "Guter Unterricht. Wie ist der möglich?" basieren auf Megastudien wie etwa den PISA-Studien oder John Hatties empirischer Bildungsforschung u.a.m. Welche Schlussfolgerungen lassen sich daraus für die Lehre vor Ort ziehen?
Die Aufsatzsammlung wird durch eine vorbehaltlich kritische Rezension abgerundet. Es geht um Dirk Stötzer. "Superlehrer + Superschule = supergeil. Der beste Beruf der Welt". Stötzer gibt in seinem Buch kompetenten Einblick in den Schulalltag, wie ihn erfahrungsmäßig kaum jemand besser kennt. - Eine prima Lektüre für Referendare!
