Dieses Fallbuch dient gleichermaßen der Einarbeitung und der Vertiefung in das europäische und deutsche Recht gegen Wettbewerbsbeschränkungen anhand von Fällen (GWB, Art. 101, 102 AEUV, FKVO, VO 1/2003, GFVO).
Es beschränkt sich nicht auf exemplarische Klausurlösungen, sondern verbindet die Klausurpraxis mit einer systematischen Erfassung des Prüfungsstoffs aus dem Bereich des deutschen und europäischen Kartell- und Fusionskontrollrechts sowie der Missbrauchskontrolle über marktbeherrschende Unternehmen. Die überwiegend auf realen Sachverhalten beruhenden Übungsfälle geben einen ausgearbeiteten Überblick über wichtige Streitfragen unter Einbeziehung aktueller Entscheidungspraxis. Die wichtigsten Lerninhalte werden am Ende jedes Falles noch einmal zusammengefasst. Erläuterte Prüfungsschemata zu wichtigen Problemkreisen runden die Darstellung ab.
Die erste Auflage bekam in der JuS 2010, 1135 eine besondere Leseempfehlung, da das Werk "(...) beweist, dass Didaktik und Anspruch nicht zwei Paar Schuhe sind. Insofern ist das Buch ein kluges Lernwerk, eine Anleitung zum Selberdenken und eine Investition mit sehr hoher Rendite".
