Reformatorische Vielfalt als narrative Herausforderung 1672-1848
The history of the Reformation and the Anabaptist movement are inextricably interwoven. Since the beginnings of Reformed and Lutheran historiography, intra-protestant diversity has primarily been processed in categorizations and narrative patterns that aimed at demarcation. Steffie Schmidt uses the example of the Anabaptist movement to examine the extent to which the changing social and intellectual-historical conditions from the late 17th to the mid-19th century modified the established narratives.
