<p>A key contribution to contemporary thinking on feminist constitutionalism, this enlightening project collects personal stories through interviews of activism in the reform of abortion laws in Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.</p> <p>The book critically evaluates the capacity of the different constitutional arrangements in Ireland to facilitate a feminist constitutionalism and to identify the feminist constituent power through an analysis of the acts of revolt that propelled constitutional change.</p> <p>The findings will be significant for global debates on state control over reproductive bodies while addressing the ongoing constitutional challenges in providing reproductive healthcare across the whole of Ireland.</p>
