Der Fachkräftemangel wird gewöhnlich als eine Gefahr für die Wirtschaft angesehen, gegen den wenig gemacht werden kann. Tatsächlich aber ist der Mangel selbstverschuldet und lässt sich durchaus abstellen. Der Schlüssel dazu heißt Inklusion, die zudem ein deutlich höheres Bruttoinlandsprodukt und wesentlich höhere Steuereinnahmen mit sich bringt. Am Beispiel der (überdurchschnittlich gut ausgebildeten) 7,9 Mio. deutschen Schwerbehinderten wird analysiert, zu welchen – oft kontraproduktiven - Überlegungen die heutigen Randbedingungen bei Arbeitgebern und Arbeitnehmern führen. An mehr Inklusion hindern uns jedoch oft Vorurteile und die Bilder, die wir mit Schwerbehinderten verbinden. Erkenntnisse der Sozialpsychologie zeigen, wie wir das angehen können. Der Fachkräftemangel ist also auch eine große Chance: Er kann zu mehr Inklusion führen und diese wiederum wird unsere Wettbewerbsfähigkeit steigern und in Zukunft unseren Wohlstand sichern. Hiervon werden viele Randgruppen profitieren, z.B. Ältere oder Migranten. Volkswirtschaftlich ist Inklusion ein großer Vorteil!

This book reassesses the Greek financial crisis of 2010, by placing it within the broader crisis of the European Economic and Monetary Union. It also provides a critical comparison of the EU’s strategies for addressing the Eurozone turmoil and the economic crisis in 2020, caused by the coronavirus pandemic. Whilst it has been broadly accepted among academics and policymakers that the Eurozone turmoil originated in the banking sector and then deterritorialized towards peripheral Economic and Monetary Union countries, the mechanisms implemented for this transformation remain understudied. Taylor has published numerous articles and blogs based upon the Global Financial Database, the GFD Equities, and the GFD Indices. Taylor’s research has uncovered previously unknown aspects of financial history. He has written two books on financial history.
