Dalla Prigione

Dalla Prigione is a large-scale black-and-white artist book by CF Heinke and the third volume of an ongoing catalogue raisonné, combining paintings, drawings, photographs and archival material. Structured in relation to Dante's Divina Commedia, the publication moves between artist book, catalogue raisonné and personal record without fully belonging to any of these forms. Rather than reconstructing a stable biography or career, the book documents fragments, disappearances, shifting ownerships and the unstable conditions under which artworks circulate and survive.
