Bei den Verfilmungen seiner Texte erwiesen sich just diese Techniken als große Hürden: Die Herausforderung durch den Film wandelte sich zu einer Herausforderung an den Film. Matthias Hausmann widmet sich den filmisch geprägten Texten des argentinischen Autors sowie deren Adaptionen für die Leinwand.
