Der politische Streik im deutschen Arbeitskampfrecht

'Political Strikes under the German Law of Industrial Action. Theoretical Developments from 1869 to the 1980s': Political strikes are widely regarded as unlawful under the current German labour law. The main argument against their admissibility is their violation of the principle that industrial action must be linked to collective bargaining. This thesis examines the doctrinal origins of this prevailing view from a legal-historical perspective and explores alternative models to the dominant system of industrial action that have been advocated for in the past.
