'Data Protection in Court Proceedings: GDPR Requirements for the Handling of Judicial Records': The GDPR's direct applicability requires a re-evaluation of the relationship between data protection and German national procedural law. The thesis systematically analyses the material requirements arising from the interplay of EU and national data protection law. Applying this framework to the handling of court records and access rights, the work develops criteria for legal practice and reveals need for legislative reform.
