Als sogenannte „Twin Transition“ prägt sie wirtschaftliche Prozesse, staatliches Handeln und individuelle Lebensrealitäten gleichermaßen. Dem (öffentlichen) Recht kommt dabei eine wichtige Steuerungsaufgabe zu, um die Transformationsprozesse legitim, gerecht und dauerhaft tragfähig zu gestalten.&nbsp; Dieser Sammelband widmet sich zum einen der Untersuchung der Zusammenhänge und Wechselwirkungen zwischen diesen beiden Transformationen aus einer rechtswissenschaftlichen Perspektive und stellt dabei die Frage, welche Rolle das Recht in diesem Kontext spielt und wie es die digitale und grüne Transformation nicht nur begleiten, sondern auch aktiv gestalten kann und muss. Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2025 im Fachbereich VWL - Geldtheorie, Geldpolitik, Note: 1,7, Universität Erfurt (Erziehungswissenschaftliche Fakultät), Veranstaltung: StuFu - Digitalisierung, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Diese Hausarbeit analysiert die revolutionäre Rolle des Bitcoins im Kontext einer zunehmend digitalisierten Welt. Während digitale Objekte aufgrund ihrer endlosen Reproduzierbarkeit ursprünglich nicht als knappe Währung geeignet schienen, bietet Bitcoin durch kryptografische Verfahren eine Lösung für das fundamentale Double-Spending-Problem. 

Der Fokus dieser Arbeit liegt auf zwei zentralen Säulen: 

Technische Integrität Eine detaillierte Untersuchung der Funktionsweise der Blockchain, des Hashing-Verfahrens sowie des Proof-of-Work-Konsensmechanismus. Hierbei wird beleuchtet, wie Miner und Nodes die Sicherheit und Dezentralität des Netzwerks ohne zentrale Institution gewährleisten und welche Rolle Anreizstrukturen wie Transaktionsgebühren dabei spielen. 

Ökonomische Analyse Die kritische Prüfung des Bitcoins anhand der klassischen Geldfunktionen: als Tausch- und Zahlungsmittel, Wertaufbewahrungsmittel und Recheneinheit. Dabei wird untersucht, inwieweit die künstliche Verknappung auf 21 Millionen Einheiten den Bitcoin als digitales Gold positioniert. 

Die Arbeit setzt den Bitcoin zudem in Bezug zu modernen Finanzmarktdaten und diskutiert die Herausforderungen durch hohe Volatilität im Vergleich zu traditionellen Anlageklassen wie Aktien-ETFs. Abschließend werden technologische Skalierungslösungen wie das Lightning-Netzwerk als notwendige Voraussetzung für eine zukünftige Massenadoption evaluiert. Damit bietet die Arbeit ein umfassendes Fundament für das Verständnis des Bitcoins als potenzielle Ergänzung oder Alternative zum bestehenden Geldsystem.

The Law Relating to International Banking and Capital Markets

Most works on Asian or global studies adopt mainstream Neoclassical methods to explain economic and social development. However, quantitative and optimisation techniques are unable to provide a deep understanding of policy change between the West and East Asia. To fill the gap, this book uses evolutionary perspective to interpret economic and social transformations of two global powers, namely, the United States and China. Specifically, this book outlines the roles of culture, institutions and entrepreneurship in the analysis. Instead of logical empiricism in the English tradition, our approach is interpretative and storytelling in continental European tradition. In other words, we adopt hermeneutics and phenomenology in the analysis and apply humanity to economics. There are two aims of this book. First, it outlines the evolution of Austrian evolutionary economics and second, the role of learning in the decision-making process. It focuses on how decision makers learn and how good and bad learners are differentiated.
