'Interpretation of Automated Contractual Transactions': Automated devices are increasingly being used in legal transactions - from simple vending machines to AI. Humans as actors in legal transactions, as understood in the base concept of the German Civil Code (BGB), are playing an increasingly minor role in more and more cases. This thesis analyses the effects on interpretative doctrine within the context of the legal, technical and psychological foundations of legal communication in the form of declarations of will and contracts.
