Nellie Wanderday, one of the greatest explorers the world has ever known, has gone missing on her latest expedition. When a mysterious stranger appears, Flo and Joseph Wanderday don't expect to discover sinister secrets about the real reason for their mother's trip. Realising that this was no ordinary expedition, and that supposed Earth-Hero, Sir Frederick Titan, is not all he claims to be, Flo and Joseph must team up with investigative journalist Marianne de la Mer and their friends Funmi and Isaac.
