Das Buch von Franz Jalics SJ, die "Kontemplativen Exerzitien", ist weit über Europa hinaus bekannt und in 30 Sprachen übersetzt. Der ungarische Ordenspriester ist eine Ikone der Kontemplation. Jalics, der im Februar 2021 in seiner Heimat Ungarn verstorben ist, nahm sich zu Lebzeiten persönlich zurück und verschwand hinter seinem Werk.
