This question runs through Olivia Erlanger's long-term exploration of the symbols and myths of suburban life. For her, "home" is a vast ecosystem that includes not only houses, but also their interiors and the surrounding infrastructure. The book marks Erlanger's first solo museum exhibition in the US, a sweeping survey of her sculptures, films, and installations.
