After Mashuu's father finds out just how involved Satoko had gotten in his son's life, he uses a work connection to have Satoko transferred all the way to Sendai. She lives back home with her mother and sister, going through the motions of daily life. Satoko doesn't expect to find anything out of the ordinary in her hometown, until a chance encounter with a high school classmate forces her to face the feelings she's kept bottled up for two years...
