Switzerland is one of the world's most important centers for international arbitration, and international arbitration is a dynamic and important area of Swiss law. This "nutshell" guide provides an overview of the legal environment for international arbitration in Switzerland considering the recent revision to the Swiss international arbitration law (Chapter 12 of the PILA), which entered into force in 2021.
