The book is an intimate exploration of Pradeep Mehra's struggles as a " backyard breeder" with no assets other than an eye for, and understanding of, horses. It captures the turmoil of his tragic passing and the challenges Ameeta overcame as she gathered the reins, and took forward his dream.
