The Innovation in City Cluster Model
This book takes the Shenzhen-Shanwei Special Cooperation Zone as an example to introduce the origin of Shenzhen-Shanwei enclaves, the economic development of enclaves with Chinese characteristics, the differences between Chinese enclaves and foreign enclaves, and the theoretical evolution process of enclave development. The book profoundly analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of the cooperation zone from tripartite co-management to two-party cooperation and then to full dominance by one party. This book explains why the development of Shenzhen-Shanwei enclave adopted an economic development model combining the cultivation of endogenous innovation momentum with the establishment of regionally-induced growth points, industrial gradient transfer, and complementary factor endowments, which scientifically demonstrates the realization path of planning leading, foundation first, platform driving, along with the integration of industry and city.
