Den Rest unseres Lebens werden wir in ihr verbringen: der Zukunft. Deshalb ist unser Bezug zu ihr niemals neutral: Wir begegnen ihr mit Hoffnung oder Hoffnungslosigkeit, Optimismus oder Trauer, Sehnsucht oder Prokrastination, Geduld oder Zukunftsvergessenheit. Diese emotionale Färbung unseres Zukunftsbezugs ist kein psychologisches Beiwerk, sondern prägt fundamental, wer wir sind und wie wir handeln. Nun kommt eine Emotion selten allein - meist haben wir es mit komplexen emotionalen Netzwerken zu tun, die unsere Identität mitbestimmen. Der Band zeigt auf, wie wir uns durch Emotionen selbst 'voraus' sind: Manchmal eilen unsere Gefühle unserem Bewusstsein voraus und müssen erst 'eingefangen' werden. Manchmal richten wir uns ganz bewusst emotional auf Kommendes aus. In der Spätmoderne, die vom Verlust vormaliger Zukunftserwartungen geprägt ist, wird diese emotionale Dimension umso brisanter. Welche Emotionen sind angemessen angesichts konkreter Szenarien, etwa im Blick auf Klima oder Demokratie? Wie konstruieren wir durch unsere Gefühle die Zukünfte, die wir erwarten? Und umgekehrt, wie bestimmen Zukünfte und Emotionen schon jetzt? Gibt es vielleicht sogar eine Pflicht zur Hoffnung?

Murano has historically been one of the most important handicraft districts in Italy due to its tradition of glassmaking, giving rise to a unique local economy and highly specialised workers. While art historians have made numerous contributions to the study of this reality, less active have been scholars of economic history, business and management. With rare exceptions, the existing literature lacks an investigation of the factory, processes and workforce behind the creation of value in this ancient production tradition. Characterised as a work of oral history, this book is a prosopography based on the stories of four witnesses&nbsp;in various historic glassmaking factories, recorded through a series of long and repeated interviews.The aim is not to provide an exhaustive description of the dynamics of glass making, but rather to offer an interpretation of certain aspects of the field through the experiences and reflections of people who have worked in it for a long time. This book puts the stories, as told by witnesses, at the centre, inverting the traditional role between collection and restitution of data that usually characterizes academic publications. It will be of great interest to scholars and students of crafts and creative industry studies, business history and organisation studies, as well as all those with an interest in Murano glass.Luca Zan 
 is&nbsp;Alma Mater Professor at&nbsp;the University of Bologna, Italy, and Director of GIOCA_Research Group. He was a long-serving adjunct faculty at Heinz College, CMU, Pittsburgh, and CAFA, Beijing, teaching arts management. His research interests include management of heritage and arts organizations, strategic change processes and management and accounting history.
 Maria Lusiani
 &nbsp;is Associate Professor of Accounting and Business Administration at the University of Bologna, where she teaches Management Control Systems, and Management of Artistic and Cultural Organizations. Her research deals with management and accounting practices in cultural and creative settings, accounting history and qualitative research methodologies.
 Jessica Tanghetti 
 is a post-doctoral research fellow at the University of Bologna, Italy, where she is involved in a Horizon 2020 funded project on the societal value of culture. Before joining University of Bologna, she was post-doctoral research fellow at Ca’ Foscari University in Venice. Her research deals with museum and art management, cultural work, crafts and creative clusters.

This book offers a comprehensive, modern understanding of legal philosophy through an evolutionary lens. Taking a highly interdisciplinary approach throughout, the book first explores the history of ‘classic evolutionism’, regarding theories of law and justice from the authors of the Scottish Enlightenment to Hayek. The second part of the book analyses the contributions of new schools of thought, including evolutionary psychology, evolutionary game theory and co-evolutionist theories. The final part of the book builds a fresh argument for a modern evolutionary account of law, considering key methodological debates and the evolution at its three levels – biological, social and individual – to explain the emergence, stabilization and change of legal rules.

Der Mensch braucht Heimat - ein Mindestmaß an Sicherheit und Überschaubarkeit, Stabilität und Kontinuität. Heimat meint eine Form nicht mehr eigens zur Bewusstheit kommender, selbstverständlicher Vertrautheit und elementarer Einbindung in lokale, soziale und kulturelle (Vor-)Gegebenheiten, denen eine konstitutive Bedeutung für unsere Existenz, unsere Identität und unser Selbstbild zukommt. Heimat gibt sich uns dabei so selbstverständlich, dass wir ihrer paradoxerweise erst im Modus der Abwesenheit, des Verlustes und Entzuges gegenwärtig werden.
Den Menschen kennzeichnet ein spannungsvoller Grundbezug zum Heimatlichen: weil ihn sowohl das Bedürfnis nach Heimischsein als auch ein ebenso elementares Unterwegssein und der Aufbruch und Exodus aus dem Gewohnten hinaus in die Fremde charakterisieren. Heimat grenzt und schirmt sich gegen das un-heim-liche Fremde ab. Zugleich sind Heimat und Fremde konstitutiv aufeinander bezogen: Das und der Fremde erweisen sich letztlich sogar als Lehrer des Eigenen.
