This Handbook addresses the role of the criminal-legal system in projecting and enforcing racial injustice across the globe. It consists of high-profile contributions that expose structural relations, global colonial and imperial histories, class oppression, and ongoing hegemonic domination that generate racial injustices and are embedded in criminalization and law enforcement. An Ethical Analysis of Civil Law

This book delves into the core debates of criminal law, examining fundamental principles such as legality, protection of legally protected goods, culpability, and proportionality. It reinterprets these principles through a lens of a Rawlsian theory of justice, proposing them as deontological liberalistic principles of justice.
