Belonging to a criminal organization and group under Spanish law
Criminal structures have undergone a qualitative transformation over the last few decades and, in step with the sharp increase in crime rates, a new phenomenon has been emerging, identified by the criminological term "organized crime", a phenomenon which, accompanied by a scenario of violence and corruption, presents a global problem that is spreading contagiously throughout all areas of reality, with consequences and dimensions that are barely calculable but, of course, of unprecedented intensity and dangerousness. The current concern in all political-legal and economic-social spheres is of such magnitude that it produces an incessant literature that is practically inexhaustible and motivates political decisions, intergovernmental agreements and common action plans at international level, with the difficult purpose of neutralizing this scourge and harmonizing methods of struggle through legislative reforms of an administrative, procedural, penal and police nature.
