Polymer Composite Materials continue to encounter various challenges for new property combinations and these challenges are leading to use of fillers with different characteristics as reinforcements. Predictive calculations for structural and functional properties are often ignored. Consequently, the efforts for development of a product rely on an empirical approach to see what works. The gap between research and practice is still wide and needs to be narrowed. This book with its emphasis on Predictive estimations of properties will narrow that gap between research and practice.
