The Physics of mesoscopic systems dealing with the borderline between the microscopic and macroscopic realms is introduced and reviewed. The Quantum Hall Effect, mesoscopic superconductivity and noise and fluctuations are discussed. In this new edition the chapters on dephasing and on noise have been rewritten and the bibliography updated.
